Blogjacking: Hand over your password and move away from your terminal! by Austin Luna aka nukemdomis

Earlier after adding some content to A Creative Desktop I was over at Technorati viewing my account and doing a few blogging related searches when I noticed that someone else had claimed my blog here at writingup.com!

I have been trying to claim my writingup blog with Technorati for quite some time now. Every single attempt resulted in a "sorry there was an error" message. When I dug a little deeper I noticed this dude with his picture next to all my writingup.com blog entries. Here, look at this link to Technorati so you can see exactly what I'm saying.

dude that is claiming my blog entries are his

The guy in the pictures is not me! What in the world is going on here? Is this a mistake on his part or am I just misunderstanding something about the way Technorati works? I have decided to only post here at writingup until I get the full story about this situation.

If you have taken the time to read this post and you have any type of feedback on this I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

Here is another view of his main profile page at Technorati. Chris Smith claiming my blog at Technorati

UPDATE: Okay so it's been a few days since the initial posting of this article and I received a letter from Technorati. Here is the exact copy:

Dear Technorati User,
Thank you for taking the time to drop us a line. If you are reporting a problem you may be having you will be contacted by a support technician once we have had a chance to review your message.

If you don't hear back from anyone within a few business days then please let us know and be sure to include the subject and ticket number, "[Feedback] Web Contact: Other #48233], " in your note so we may properly track your issue and its progress. In the meantime, you can also check our Support FAQ located at "technorati.com/help/supportfaq.html" which may answer some of your questions.

If you have written us to share feedback, ideas or suggestions then you will not normally receive a response but we do appreciate and value any and all comments, alerts and suggestions.

Thank you for using Technorati and we hope we may be of service

Then I tried calling the telephone number that was on their website only to get an answering machine. Today is Sunday so I don't expect them to answer the phone anyway. What can I say it's my only day off this week. I left them a quick message and I'm sure they'll return the call.
As far as trying to contact the blogjacker I have sent 2 emails so far with no response.

Anyone that can help can get in contact with me at my creative site

Attention readers I should have more information on the outcome of this challenge that your reading about. Any future updates will be found inside the blog at A Creative Desktop crash test SITE dummy
